Eluga Note Physical Overview

The device comes packed in a plastic body. Its dimensions are 146×74.5×8.15 mm and it weighs just 142 grams, which is very less considering a 5.5 inch Display and 3,000 mAh battery. The plastic may feel a little cheap in hand but looks decent, it feels good in hand and can be easily used with one hand.

On the front there is nothing much apart from the regular components like a 5.5-inch Full-HD display, a earpiece on the top followed by 5MP cam and couple of sensors. There is Panasonic branding at the bottom with a small LED just below it.

Rear side of the device is totally clean with a good-looking circular camera ring with 16MP cam and a triple LED flash on the left side of the camera. You will find the Panasonic branding in the middle and the Eluga branding below that. The back cover and battery are removable. The sim card slot and the micro-SD card slot both lie under the back cover.

Eluga  Camera Overview

Panasonic Eluga Note

It comes with a 16MP shooter on the back triple LED flash and a 5MP shooter on the front. Camera takes good shots during natural lightning condition and the pictures came out to very crisp and detailed. Colors looks great and accurate though the camera struggles a bit during low light situation. The front camera also takes quite good shots in natural light.

Display

Panasonic Eluga Note (9)

As we have already told, it comes with a 5.5 inch dull HD display. The display looks good in terms of sharpness and colours production. It is a good display for watching videos and playing games but lacks in brightness in outdoors. Viewing angles are limited, but overall it is decent display for the price.

Price, Availability and Competition

Panasonic Eluga Note is priced for INR 13,290 and will be available through all offline retail channels rather than the online ones. The Panasonic Eluga Note will be offered in Champagne Gold colour. Main competions for this device will be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2, Lenovo Moto G4 and Lenovo K5 Note.

Conclusion

Panasonic Eluga Note comes with decent set of specs but it misses out some of the key features which are common in this price range. The lack of the Fingerprint sensor and metal build may affect it against the competition. Generally, devices at this price range comes with some great set of specs but Eluga Note clearly seems overpriced for what it offers.
