Xiaomi powerbanks are extremely popular.. and scarce. They’re like Pikachu – difficult to find one in stock and by the time you add them to the cart, they’re gone. Anyway, the company has launched a new 10000 mAh Mi Power Bank as a part of its second anniversary sale in India.

Xiaomi Mi Powerbank – Now the size of a business card

The new 10,000 mAh Mi Power Bank comes with smaller, higher capacity battery cells. Xiaomi does not fail to tout this new improvement in its extremely popular 10,000 mAh series of powerbanks. These new powerbanks come with battery cells from Panasonic and LG, so you don’t have to worry about their quality or capacities.

The 10000 mAh Mi Powerbank is just 91 x 60.4 x 22 mm, or roughly the size of a standard business card. To reduce the overall size of the powerbank, Xiaomi has not resorted to using lower quality materials or worse design.

The new 10000 mAh Mi powerbank features the same anodized aluminium body covered with two plastic caps on the top and the bottom. Now though, compared to the original 10400 mAh powerbank, the USB and microUSB ports are in the same vertical line, with the reset button and LED lights on the either side of the two ports.

Xiaomi 2nd Anniversay Sale

Apart from the 10000 mAh powerbank, the Xiaomi 2nd anniversay sale features a range of products with discounts on many of them.

The first in the list is the Xiaomi Mi 5 32 GB version, available at Rs. 22,999, after a discount of Rs. 2,000. This offer is applicable on the Black and White versions only.

Second in the list is the Xiaomi Mi 4, which sadly is out of stock now.

Third in the list is the Mi Bluetooth speaker, available at Rs. 1,999 after a discount of Rs. 500.
