This year already has been quite exciting with the launch of some cool gadgets and flagship phones, but that’s not the all. Smartphone manufacturer like Apple and Lenovo owned Motorola is coming up with their new smartphones. Apple is going to launch it’s much awaited iPhone 7 series on September 7. Lenovo is also going to launch its two new budget friendly device, Moto G4 Play and Moto E3 soon in India.
Apple is all set to launch it new iPhone 7 and has finally sent out the media invites for the launch event which is to be held in San Francisco on September 7. Apple is also expected to launch the 2nd generation of Apple Watch, Apple Watch 2 along with iPhone 7 in the event. Most probably iPhone 7 will go on sale from September 16. The new iPhone is expected to have a dual camera setup like we have seen on LG G4 and most probably will lack the traditional 3.5mm jack. Apart from this, it may also feature a curved glass display. It may likely be launched into two variants, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus like its siblings. One will come with 4.7-inch display and the another will with bigger 5.5-inch display. It is expected to go on sale from September 16.
Talking about Moto G4 Play, it can be called as a trimmed down version of Moto G4. Moto India’s Twitter has revealed that the smartphone will be launched exclusively at Amazon India and the first sale is scheduled for September 6. The price is expected to be below INR 10,000. The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD (720p) display, and under the hood it runs a Snapdragon 410 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has got 16GB in-built storage which can be expanded via micro-SD card slot. Camera optics includes a 8MP rear and a 5MP front facing camera. It is backed up by a 2,800mAh with Quick Charge technology and runs on the latest Android Marshmallow ( 6.0.1).
Lenovo is also gearing up to launch the 3rd-generation of Moto E, Moto E3 in the country. In Moto E3 Power is introduced in Hong Kong with the price tag of HKD 1,098 (approx INR 9,500). It features a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display. It runs on 1-GHz MediaTek MT6735P quad-core SoC, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has got 16GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 128GB. It sports a 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on Android Marshmallow (6.0.1) and is backed by a massive 3500mAh battery. It has got all the basic connectivity options including 4G LTE.
These things aren’t official yet so it’s hard to comment on their pricing but it will interesting to see that how these companies price their products in India when launched officially.
