Reliance Jio May Start Delivering Jio SIM At Your Doorstep

Reliance Jio has got overwhelming response in return of its free data and other benefits. It has been more than a month and you can still spot queue outside Reliance Digital stores. The demand is so huge that even the company is not able to handle the chaos. Many stores have also started coupon system for giving the Jio SIM to manage the messed up situation.

Reliance Jio have thought of a solution to all this chaos. That would be delivery of the SIM’s directly to your house. Rumors suggest that Jio has planned to open an online portal where the interested buyers can enter their name, alternate contact number, proof of address and identity. Once, you fill in the portal, the SIM is expected to reach your doorstep within a week. It is also believed that some test deliveries are also carried out till now.

This will be advantageous to the customers as they can get their SIM delivered easily to their homes avoiding all the queues. Also, it would bring an end to the black market sales of the Jio SIM. We must note that this is important because we have seen SIM sold for nearly Rs 1,000 which was intended to be sold freely.

Jio which had earlier planned a target of 100 million, has now extended it to 250 million. This would mean that Jio would be the second largest telecom company after Bharti Airtel.
