Huawei today launched three new devices under the Honor brand in India, dubbed as the Honor 8, Honor 8 Smart and Holly 3. The devices were launched at an event in New Delhi. Honor has targeted 3 different price segments with today’s launch. Holly 3 covers the budget segment (Under 10K), Honor 8 Smart targets the Mid range (under 20k), and the Honor 8 smartphone stands against the flagships with a price tag under 30K.

Honor 8
The Honor 8 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Emotion UI 4.1. The device features a 5.2 inch full HD LTPS IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display comes with a 2.5D curve to offer a immersive viewing experience.
The Huawei Honor 8 is powered by an Octa core 2.3 GHz HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor clubbed with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.
The Honor 8 features a Dual 12 MP + 12 MP camera setup with f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus, dual LED flash and 1.25 µm pixel size. The camera can record videos up to 1080p @ 60 FPS. Honor 8 Smart
The Huawei Honor 8 Smart is the lower priced variant of the Honor 8. It comes with a single rear camera and a slower Kirin 650 processor.
The Honor 8 Smart runs on Android 6.0 based EMUI 4.1. The device features a 5.2 inch full HD LTPS IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device comes with a pixel density of ~424 PPI.
The Honor 8 Smart is powered by a 2.0 GHz Kirin 650 processor clubbed with 2 GB RAM. The device comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the Honor 8 Smart features a 13 MP primary camera. On the front, the device sports an 8 MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture and 1.4 µm pixel size.
