Samsung is gearing up to launch two new smartphones in India. According to the latest spotting on Zauba, a website that tracks imports and exports, two devices – Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro have shown up on the website. Samsung is rumoured to launch them in December, strengthening its Galaxy C series of smartphones.
Galaxy C5 Pro And Galaxy C7 Pro Specs
Rumours about the launch of new Pro variants of the original Galaxy C5 and C7 were doing the rounds on the internet since September. Samsung was said to be prepping for a November-December launch. This lends more credence to reports that hint at a December launch of the C5 Pro and C7 Pro. Both the devices have surfaced on Zauba just in time as well.
Coming to the specs of the two new phones, there have been reports that the Galaxy C5 Pro will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 625 SoC, featuring an octa-core processor and Adreno 506 GPU. You can expect 2 GB RAM and a HD display in the Galaxy C5 Pro.
The Galaxy C7 Pro is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC, also featuring an octa-core processor and Adreno 506 GPU, although Qualcomm says it is 10% more powerful than Snapdragon 625.
Pricing And Availability
Not much else is known in terms of specs and pricing, however we expect Samsung to price these two phones in the Rs. 20,000-25,000 range. The company has come under attack by extremely competitive OEMs like Xiaomi, Motorola, Lenovo and others. Samsung has been trying to fight back with its Galaxy C and Galaxy J series of smartphones.
It will be interesting to see how the company prices the Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro.
