LeEco And Coolpad To launch “Cool 1S” With Snapdragon 821 Soon

Two major Chinese brands, LeEco and Coolpad launched Cool 1C few days back in China. Now again, both the firms are planning to launch a new phone called Cool 1S in China. This device has already been spotted several times on benchmarking sites.

The device was spotted online and it will be sporting flagship specifications. The design and specifications of Cool 1S looks a bit inspired from LeEco Le Max 2. This device is going to be a direct competitor of the recently launched OnePlus 3T as both sports Snapdragon 821 chip-set.

Cool 1S Specifications

It is expected to sport a 5.5 inch Full-HD IPS LCD display and will be powered by the latest flagship chipset, Snapdragon 821. The two expected storage variants, 4GB RAM option and 6GB RAM option. Internal memory options include 32GB, 64GB128GB and most probably there won’t be any storage expansion option.

Camera optics includes a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter. There is a Fingerprint Sensor located at the rear and is expected to have a massive 4,000mAh battery. It runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with some custom EUI 5.8 on top.

Connectivity options will be including 4G LTE, 3G, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Type-C USB and USB OTG. Color options will include gold, white, silver, blue, and black most probably.

The phone will be sporting a full uni-body metal construction with pretty narrow bezels which is really a good thing to see in a flagship device. It may have a camera bump like OnePlus 3 as we have seen in the earlier leaked photos. Overall the design looks quite premium and eye-candy. This smartphone scored an amazing score of 1,59,039 on Antutu Benchmark.

Price and Availability

We can’t say anything about the price and availability, but we expect it to get launched soon in China. However looking at Cool 1C which was priced at Rs. 9000 (approx), we can say that the Cool 1S will also be priced aggressively. For any further information we have to wait for the official announcements.
