Nokia D1C Price And Launch Details Surface, To Come With Tempting Price Tag

Stage is set for Nokia’s relaunch: Nokia will be releasing Nokia D1C series at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. Nokia has reportedly signed a ten year agreement with HMD Global to manufacture devices. Two variants will be released under the series, but both the devices are lower-tier phones with SD430 on board. It is a calculated move to start the revival with low-end phones, as the market is already crowded with big players that makes it really difficult for Nokia to sell high-end phones without making any firm impression.

Nokia D1C Specifications

The basic variant features a 5-inch screen size with 1080p display resolution, powered by 1.43 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, Adreno 505 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. In the camera department, it sports a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front facing camera. It is also worth  noting that, it comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

The advanced variant features 5.5-inch screen size with 1080p display resolution, 1.43 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, 16MP rear camera and 8MP front-face camera and runs Android 7.0 Nougat.

Price and Availability:

The basic variant will allegedly start from 150$ ( approx 10,000) which places it in the sweet spot in the developing markets. If the rumors turn out to be true, don’t be surprised to witness a unprecedented demand for these phones. Regarding availability, the phone may launch in Q2 2017, and HMD Global confirmed that India is one of the key markets for them. Till then, brace yourselves for the launch and get ready to enjoy nostalgia.
