Coolpad Cool 1 With Dual Cameras Launched In India For Rs. 13,999

After witnessing the success of Cool 1 in China, LeEco and Coolpad have now launched the Cool 1 in India. This is the first phone after LeEco acquired 28.9 percent stake in the fellow Chinese manufacturer Coolpad. The phone has gained a lot of attention from the users due to its specifications and now finally the company has introduced it in the Indian market.

Coolpad Cool 1 Specifications

The Cool 1 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen (1080 X 1920 pixels) with 401 ppi pixel density. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EUI on top.

Powering it is an octa-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. Although the phone is available in three different variants in China, the Indian version comes in only one configuration – 4 GB RAM with 32 GB internal storage. The internal storage cannot be expanded using a microSD card, though.

As teased before, the camera features a 13 MP dual camera setup at rear with f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, and dual-LEd flash. The front has an 8MP camera. The connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB with Type-C 1.0 reversible connector.

The phone also features a 3.5mm audio jack, fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro meter, proximity sensor, and compass. The phone packs a non-removable 4060 mAh battery with fast charging option and is available in three color options – Rose Gold, Silver and Gold. The Cool 1 runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) topped with EUI 5.6.

Pricing And Availability

Coolpad has launched only one variant of the Cool 1 for now. The Cool 1 with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage has been priced at Rs. 13,999. It will go on sale exclusively on Amazon.in starting on January 5 next year.
