On 21st of January 2017, I had this tremendous opportunity to get my hands on one of the most enhanced, powerful, and ready for action hybrid machines that man has made; yes, I’m talking about the Jaguar. I want to share my experience about what I went through on the seats of these beasts.
It was going to be yet another day, filled with gadgets and reviews and then I got this call to attend and cover: The Art of Performance Tour, which is going to be a series of dynamic drive experience and is an on the road event happening in Gurgaon and across India. So, I went there and did what is every man’s dream- see a sports car and drive that beast up.
When I reached there in the morning, entire line-up of Jaguar cars were there and people were actually testing their limit and drifts were the normal thing in my sight. All I was thinking was, when am I going to do that and then I took a minute for myself and said- you are at the right place and at the right time.
The whole event was well organized and was taken care by all the best suitable people there ever could be. I was welcomed with refreshments and greeted by on ground staff, which definitely gave me a positive boost and good hopes for the remainder of the day.
After completing the needed requirements to drive Jaguars, I went through a briefing session in which they educated us on how things will go and what all activities are going to take place. Following are the details:
Jaguar, The Art of Performance Tour is a series of dynamic drive experience, where you can have chance to drive and test the limits of the particular car you drive.
The point that Jaguar India has proved here is, if Indian roads are tough, then even are luxury cars can turn tough and move along your peace and class.
This is focused on how Indian roads have an archaic image of heavy traffic and sudden lane change. We face that everyday don’t we?
The whole process includes three activities where in first- you’ll push the acceleration to its limits and test the car’s throttle and then breaking systems. In the second one- you’ll have to drive the cars in zig-zag lanes and test their grip on the road. In the third one you have to drive in condition where you have a straight lane but then abruptly you have to change the lane and come at a halt position, so as to check the car’s feedback on how the driver instructs it for quick breaking, accelerations and then lane change condition. On the top of it, it’s all going to come in action with all the luxurious and alluring cars that Jaguar has come up with.

After reading the car line-up, it’s inevitable that you might be thinking what a lucky guy I am.
Me being a YouTuber, had to cover the whole experience in my way and ill share the visual moments with you soon. It is entirely a matter of fact that these cars and cameras have great chemistry. Whenever my camera felt the proximity level pruning down with any of the Jaguar, it made me click pictures and make videos. You can have a look at the pictures. Aren’t they amazing? These cars are so beautiful and powerful at the same time that any eyes can fall for them and any jaw can drop.
I went through all three activities and drove all the 8 cars; and I was awestruck. I still remember the adrenaline rush each car injected into me. In Jaguar F–TYPEs, I was able to push them to the 0 to 80 state in matter of seconds. XJ is a different name of class and performance algamated in single peace of aluminum so that it turns into sports mode and fly when you need it to. Jaguar F-PACE, XE, and XF are names you can take when you need light weight, full-power throttle within the range of half a cr.
It was one of the best day altogether. I would like to thank Jaguar India for offering the opportunities to Jaguar enthusiasts to reach out and get their hands on the beautifully hand-crafted another name of charmer, the Jaguar.
