Indian units of the HTC 10 have finally started to receive the Nougat update. The latest firmware is being pushed through an over the air (OTA) package. The update has a total size of 1.21 GB. It comes with all the new features of Android 7.0 Nougat along with some refinements.

The latest update has brought split-screen, interactive notifications, advanced settings menu to the HTC 10. Multitasking will be a breeze with on the new firmware, as you will be able to switch between apps just with a double tap. You will now be able to reply to new messages right from the notification drawer. Other than these, there are a handful of new options in the settings menu.

HTC 10 was launched way back in May 2016. It comes with a 5.2-inch QHD display and Snapdragon 820 SoC. The smartphone sports 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of onboard storage. The primary camera has a megapixel count of 12 MP, and the front camera is a 5 MP unit. The phone has an excellent camera hardware as well as a spectacular metal body. Speaking of battery capacity, there is a 3000mAh cell inbuilt inside the device. Connectivity-wise, the HTC 10 supports 4G LTE as well as VoLTE.
Coming to the pricing, HTC first launched the smartphone for Rs. 52,990. However, it was soon cut to Rs. 47,990. Now, the phone is available for purchase at somewhere around Rs. 41,500. Even though the pricing seems exorbitant, the HTC 10 is truly a flagship device.
