Nokia 3310 Physical Overview

The 2017 version of the legendary phone comes with an updated design language. The handset sports an all-plastic body. The built quality is quite good, and the device feels rock solid. Look-wise, it is pretty attractive and fits perfectly in hand. The mobile is a bit thinner than its 17-year old variant. The menu button and the navigation keys have also been reconstructed for good.

On the basis of color, there are a total of four different versions. The Yellow and Warm Red, both with glossy finishing, and Grey and Dark Blue, both with a matte finish.

Nokia 3310 Features Overview

The legendary phone comes with the iconic Snake game. Just like the device, the game has been renovated too. Gameloft is the developer of the revamped version of the well-known game.

The Nokia 3310 comes in both single SIM and dual SIM versions. Unfortunately, the phone supports 2G networks only, that too only the 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands. Software-wise, the mobile runs Nokia Series 30+ operating system. The Java-based OS comes with inbuilt Opera browser.

A 1200mAh battery juices up the handset. Nokia claims up to 22.1 hours of talk time, 51 hours MP3 playback, 39 hours of FM Radio or 31 days’ standby time.

Nokia 3310: Expected India Launch and Price

According to reports, the 2017 Nokia 3310 will arrive India in early April. The phone launch price of 49 Euro. This comes to be around Rs. 3500 in Indian currency. So, you can expect the price to remain under Rs. 4000 in the country. Keep tuned to us for future updates as a well detailed review of the newly launched handset.

Conclusion

The revival of the Nokia 3310 is nothing but a marketing stunt. With no support for 3G or 4G networks or even the Wi-Fi, the phone is pretty useless in modern day scenario. The handset is meant only for nostalgic people who wish to get the feel of their 17-year-old mobile. The Nokia 3310 is nothing but HMD Global’s desperate attempt to keep alive the brand image of the Finnish company.
