Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ Launched With 5-inch Display, 4G VoLTE At Rs. 5,490

Further extending its entry-level smartphone lineup in the country, Intex today launched the Aqua Strong 5.1+. The latest budget 4G smartphone comes with Voice over LTE (VoLTE) support. The Aqua Strong 5.1+ is the successor of last year’s Aqua Strong 5.1. Priced at Rs. 5,490, the smartphone packs 5-inch FWGA display and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Not following the footsteps of its predecessor, the Aqua Strong 5.1+ has a different design.

The smartphone comes with advanced features like MiFon Security which is a 9-in-1 security suite, VdioPlay Video aggregator app, QR Code reader and integrated smart tracking which helps users to track their phones if lost. The particular smartphone is oriented towards the data savvy audience who prefer better, faster and seamless internet connectivity.

Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ Specifications

The entry level smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor, which is coupled to a 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The internal storage can be further expanded through microSD up to 64GB. Aqua Strong 5.1+ runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and supports Dual SIM.

For imaging, the phone is equipped with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash while the front has a 2MP camera. The overall dimensions of the phone measure 143.1 mm X 72.1 mm  X 10.1 mm and weighs 150.6 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. Fueling the phone is a 2000 mAh battery.

Pricing And Availability

The Aqua Strong 5.1+ is available in Black and Gold color options and comes at a price tag of Rs 5,490. With a better design and advanced features, the Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ is expected to receive a better response over its predecessor.
