Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+ Phablet Launched At Rs. 7499

It has been almost a year since Micromax launched the Canvas Mega 2 Q426 in India. It was one of the rarest entry level smartphone to boast a 6-inch display. Now, the company has announced its successor, the Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+ with some much-needed upgrades. The latest phablet comes with the same screen size but twice as powerful internals.

Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+ Specifications

Coming to the specs, the brand new phone sports a 6-inch qHD (960 x 540) IPS display. Moving inside, there is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor based on Cortex A53 architecture. Speaking of the memory, the Canvas Mega 2 Plus boasts 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage. There is an option for a micro SD card too.

Software-wise, the handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Moving on to the camera department, the latest smartphone has got an 8 MP rear autofocus unit, and 5 MP fixed focus selfie shooter. A 3000mAh battery juices up the phablet.

Talking about connectivity, the Q426+ supports 4G LTE along with VoLTE. Other features include single band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS / A-GPS, micro USB 2.0, FM Radio, etc.

Pricing and Availability

The large screen phablet is already available for purchase from brick and mortar stores all across India for Rs. 7499. It is expected to go for sale through online retailers shortly.
