OnePlus 3T Black Color Variant Launched in India

After a series of leaks, OnePlus India finally unveiled Midnight Black color variant of OnePlus 3T in India. The announcement was made last night on OnePlus India official Twitter handle. The device will be selling for Rs 34,999 on 31st March 2017 at 2:00 PM IST on OnPlus India store. OnePlus hinted that only limited stock would be put on sale, so you should have fast hands to grab it.

Bear in mind that Indian Midnight Black color model doesn’t have Colette logo engraved on it. For those who are unaware, Colette is a Paris-based fashion boutique. OnePlus partnered with Colette as they have a shared vision to produce products by paying meticulous attention to minute details. However, OnePlus is selling only 250 units of them that too limited to France.

OnePlus 3T Specifications

The OnePlus 3T runs on Oxygen OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device features a 5.5 inch full HD Optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It comes with a pixel density of ~401 PPI.

The OnePlus 3T is powered by a Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clubbed with Adreno 530 GPU. The OnePlus 3 was powered by Snapdragon 820. The 3T comes with 6 GB RAM and 64 / 128 GB of internal storage. The device does not support microSD expansion.


Coming to the camera department, the phone features a 16 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, OIS and LED flash. The camera can record videos up to 2160 pixels @ 30 FPS. It comes with features such as geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR.

On the front, the device features an upgraded 16 MP secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and smile capture. There is a fingerprint sensor on the front which also doubles as a home button.

The OnePlus 3T is powered by a 3,400 mAh battery with Dash charge support.  Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type-C connector.
