In some disappointing news for Reliance Jio customers, TRAI has forced the company to withdraw its Summer Surprise offer. According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, or TRAI, the Jio Summer Surprise offer is in violation of some terms of the regulatory body. Subsequently, Reliance Jio was sent a legal notice in this regard and the company has accepted it.
This withdrawal will affect Reliance Jio customers soon. According to the original terms of the offer, customers had time until April 15th to apply for Jio Prime basic subscription and an applicable Summer Surprise plan. That time limit now changes. Reliance Jio has already revealed that the company is going to withdraw the Summer Surprise offer completely as soon as operationally feasible.
