Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi Max 2 Specifications Leaked, Mi 6 To Come With Snapdragon 835

Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi Max 2 are currently two of the most anticipated smartphones from Xiaomi. With the release date approaching soon, their specifications have already leaked on a benchmarking site. The GFXBench listing shows the Mi 6 codenamed as ‘Xiaomi Sagit’ with Snapdragon 835 SoC, while the Mi Max 2, named as ‘Xiaomi Oxygen’ boasts a Snapdragon 660 chipset. Both the smartphones are expected to release in a week in China.

Xiaomi Mi 6 Specifications

The successor of the Xiaomi Mi 5 is seen to sport a similar 5.15 inch Full HD display, this time probably an OLED panel. The smartphone is powered by the mighty Snapdragon 835 chipset which also sits inside the Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+. Coming to memory, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will probably rock two variants; one with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage while another 6 GB / 128 GB model.

The Mi 6 will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI on the top. The phone will rock a 12 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie unit. Both will support 4K video recording. Speaking of the battery, the upcoming flagship will possibly sport a 4000mAh cell.

Considering pricing, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will start from 1999 Yuan (Rs. 19000 approx.) and go up till 2699 Yuan (Rs. 25500 approx.).

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Specifications

Codenamed as the Xiaomi Oxygen, it is the 6.4-inch display which made us sure that it is nothing but the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Apart from the Full HD 6.4-inch screen, the smartphone rocks the yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 660 chipset. This is mated with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of onboard storage. Just like the Mi 6, this too runs MIUI on top of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Some leaks also suggest that the Mi Max 2 could be powered by Snapdragon 626 processor.

The Mi Max 2 boasts a 12 MP rear camera along with a 5 MP front shooter. While the rear unit can capture 4K footages the selfie camera is restricted up to 2K videos only. Other than these, the smartphone will come with the usual set of connectivity options along with a huge 5000mAh battery.

While the Mi Max 2 is also expected to launch alongside the Xiaomi Mi 6, we don’t have any idea about its pricing yet.
