Micromax Evok Power, Evok Note Launched With 4G VoLTE Starting At Rs. 6,999

In order to improve the entry level smartphones lineup in India, Micromax has launched Evok Power and Evok Note in India. With both these smartphones, Micromax has begun a new series in the market which features significant value for money features which include VoLTE support, Fingerprint sensor, and 4,000 mAh batteries. The Evok Power features a metal back and rubberised edges.

The Evok Note on the other hand has a full metal unibody design. Both these smartphones are equipped with a private security app called Secure Space and are powered by beefy 4,000 mAh batteries.

The Evok Power features a 5.0-inch full HD display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, which is further coupled to 2GB RAM. The internal storage of the phone measures 16GB which can be further expanded via a microSD. For imaging, an 8MP autofocus rear snapper and a 5MP selfie shooter is packed. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

Micromax Evok Note Specifications

Considering the Evok Note, it gets a larger 5.5-inch full HD display and it is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, which is further coupled to a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Just like Evok Power, the storage can be further expanded via a microSD. Camera duties include a 13-megapixel autofocus sensor with a 5P shooter at the rear while a 5-megapixel selfie snapper is equipped at the front. Connectivity options of the phone are similar to Evok Power.

Pricing and Availability

Micromax has priced both the phones strategically. The Evok Power is priced at Rs 6,999 while the Evok Note is priced at Rs 9,499. Both these phones will be exclusive to Flipkart which is a part of a new collaboration of both the companies. The phones will be available from midnight today.
