Though we have seen leaked images taken from OnePlus 5, this is the official image from the manufacturer, which it shared on its Twitter page. OnePlus has uploaded two photos on its Twitter account – the first image looks dim, colorless, hazy and not impressive while the other image is filled with colors and details. The better one is surely taken from the OnePlus 5.
The camera of OnePlus 5 is evolved in collaboration with DxO, in order to improve the overall photography experience of the users. What difference the partnership will create is still not clear but, the tweeted image from OnePlus 5’s camera is surely hinting towards a strong rivalry with the HTC U11, Google Pixel, and Samsung Galaxy S8. The OnePlus 5 is also expected to feature a dual-camera setup to match the segment standards recently adopted by many manufacturers.
Some of the other confirmed features of the upcoming phone include Snapdragon 835 processor, front-facing fingerprint sensor, Oxygen OS, and a 5.5-inch QHD display with 1440 X 2560 pixels screen resolution. Though the company has not released any official launch date and according to recent hint, the OnePlus 5 will be launched on June 15. This hint comes from the official leaked mail of the company which states that the launch will take place on June 15.
The leaked mail is about arranging the event for the launch of the upcoming smartphone and this gives further authenticity to the suggested date of launch. There are also rumors that the company has adopted another measure of publicity by intentionally releasing the particular mail. The company also confirmed that OnePlus 3T will be discontinued soon as the stock lasts. This move further clears the way for the upcoming smartphone.
It is expected that the company will release some more information about the phone before its launch to keep up the excitement of the tech enthusiasts. Let’s see when we see OnePlus 5 live in the Indian market.
