Moto Z2 Play Pre-Booking To Begin From June 8 In India

Motorola had recently launched the Moto Z2 Play along with some new Moto Mods. Now, the company has announced that the device will be up for pre-bookings starting from June 8 in India. The pre-bookings will be available from both online and offline retail stores. The company has not revealed the price for the device in India. The device was launched for $499(Rs. 32,200 Approx) in the US.

Motorola has announced the following offers for those who pre-book the device.

  • Hello Finance – Customers can pay Rs. 2,000 and pay the balance at 0% interest in 10 months.
  • Hello Mods – Exciting offers on select Moto Mods.
  • Hello Armor – It includes protective accessories for the smartphone.

Moto Z2 Play Specifications

The Motorola Moto Z2 Play runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The device features a 5.5 inch full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device comes with a pixel density of ~401 PPI. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The Motorola Moto Z2 Play runs on an Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor with eight cores clocked at 2.2 GHz, clubbed with Adreno 506 GPU. The device will be available in two variants.

The first variant comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage while the second variant comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Apart from this, the storage on the device can be further expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play features a 12 MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, phase detection and laser autofocus and dual LED flash. The camera comes with features such as geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and Auto-HDR. On the front, the device sports a 5 MP secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture and a color correlated temperature (CCT) dual-LED flash.

The Moto Z2 Play is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, which is a substantial downgrade from the 3,510 mAh battery of the Moto Z Play. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1 and FM Radio. The device comes with a finger print sensor integrated in the home button.

Just like its predecessor, the Moto Z2 Play also supports Moto Mods. It will support all the Moto Mods that were launched with the Moto Z Play and also comes with new Moto Mods. Here are the new Moto Mods.
