After launching the OnePlus 5 in the USA and other markets on June 20th, OnePlus today launched the device in India. The latest flagship from OnePlus comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display, up to 8GB of RAM and a dual camera setup on the back. It also runs on the latest version of Android and comes with OxygenOS on top.
OnePlus 5 starts at a price of Rs. 32,999 in India for the 6GB/64GB variant and Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. It comes in two colour options.

OnePlus 5 Specifications
The OnePlus 5 runs on Oxygen OS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The device features a 5.5 inch full HD Optic AMOLED display with DCI-P3 color coverage. It comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The display will come with a pixel density of ~401 PPI. The device is protected by 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The OnePlus 5 is powered by the powerful Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with a clock speed of up to 2.45 GHz. The graphics on the device will be handled by Adreno 540 GPU.
The OnePlus 5 will be available in two storage variants. The base variant comes with 6 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 dual channel internal storage. The other variant comes with 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.1 dual channel internal storage.
Coming to the camera department, the OnePlus 5 features a dual camera setup at the back. It comes with a 16 MP camera with Sony IMX398 sensor, f/1.7 aperture and EIS. It comes with a secondary 20 MP camera at the back with Sony IMX350 sensor, f/2.6 aperture.
The secondary camera is a telephoto lens which captures the images in portrait mode and creates a depth-of-field or bokeh effect that blurs the background. The primary camera comes with a dual LED flash.
The OnePlus 5 comes with a 3,300 mAh battery with Dash Charge support. The company promises full day battery in just 30 minutes of charging. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack.
The device comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button. It also comes with 3 microphones for noise cancellation. It features Dirac HD sound.

Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus 5 6GB variant has been priced at Rs. 32,999 and the 8 GB variant has been priced at Rs. 37,999. It will be available in Slate Gray and Midnight Black color options. Early access sale is now live on Amazon.in, and it will also be available on OnePlus India store starting on June June 26th. Additionally, it will also be available in OnePlus Experience stores in Delhi and Bengaluru starting on June 27th.
