First Live Images Of Jio 4G VoLTE Feature Phone Leaked

There has been a lot of buzz about Jio 4G VoLTE Feature Phone for a few months now. As usual, we are always on the lookout for bringing every new Reliance Jio related news to you. Today we can share with you the first live images of Reliance Jio’s 4G VoLTE feature phone.

It is worth noting that images of Jio’s 4G VoLTE capable feature phone had leaked earlier. However, at the time, there was no confirmation about the specs nor was the phone switched on.

Jio 4G VoLTE Feature Phone Specifications

Featuring Lyf branding, this feature phone comes with a 2.4 inch QVGA resolution display. This display size and resolution is almost always the norm with most feature phones out there, so that’s the first checkbox.

This Jio VoLTE feature phone also comes with a dual core Spreadtrum chipset, clocked at 1.2GHz. So far, we haven’t seen feature phones come with dual core processors clocked upwards of 1GHz, but this might be the first instance after all. In terms of memory and storage, this Lyf VoLTE feature phone comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. There is support for microSD cards up to 64GB as well.


Reliance Jio Lyf 4G VoLTE Feature Phone specs

Powering the phone is KAI 2.0, which seems to be a Linux-based operating system. We await more details in this regard. The Jio VoLTE feature phone comes with a 2 MP camera and backed up by a 2000mAh battery. Apart from that, the phone also comes with dual SIM support. It is expected to support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options as well, in addition to microUSB 2.0.

We are not absolutely sure about the phone’s pricing yet, but a number of reports have been suggesting that Reliance Jio’s 4G VoLTE feature phones could cost between Rs. 999-1500. We cannot confirm these prices at this point of time. However, we expect Reliance Jio to bundle at least 3 months of free 4G LTE data and unlimited voice calls on the purchase of this phone. If not this, the company may launch a cashback offer.
