Xiaomi had launched its flagship device, the Mi 6 in April in China. Now, the company has teased the launch of its next flagship, the Mi 6 Plus. While the company has not revealed the name of the device that will be launched, the image hints at a flagship device.
The image, posted by Xiaomi on Weibo mentions 6 GB RAM and also has and also shows the curved side of the device. The design looks similar to the Mi 6. The amount of RAM also hints towards a flagship. The same amount of RAM was also found on devices like Mi 5s Plus, Mi Note 2 and Mi 6.
Apart from this image, a teaser was also posted by the official account of Xiaomi on Weibo. The video mentions various specifications such as the processor being a part of the 800 series, UFS storage, DDR4 RAM, large display, 3D Glass body and 4,000 mAh battery.
The teaser also mentions that the device will come with a 22 MP primary camera capable of recording 4K videos. It will also feature a smart beauty mode. Apart from this, the teaser also reveals that the device will come with 4G, USB Type – C port, Quick Charge support, IR Blaster and NFC.
The teaser only mentions a 22 MP camera. We will have to wait and see whether Xiaomi uses a dual camera setup or goes for a single camera for the Mi 6 Plus. The Mi 6 came with a 12 + 12 MP dual camera setup on the back. The image mentions the launch date as 7 July so we don’t have to wait for long to see the device.
