Samsung has launched a new smartphone called Galaxy J7 Nxt, which is part of widely popular J7 series. The company has also recently launched Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro in India. The launch of Galaxy J7 Nxt further builds upon Samsung’s Galaxy J7 series and brings it to an even lower price range.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt comes with a 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) Super AMOLED panel. Weighing at 170g, it measures 152.4 x 78.6 x 7.6 mm. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with TouchWiz on top.
A 14nm Exynos 7870 processor ( 8×1.6GHz Cortex-A53 cores) along with Mali T830 powers this device. It packs 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card upto 256GB.
In the camera department, the Galaxy J7 Nxt houses a 13MP sensor with a large f/1.9 aperture and a single LED flash on the back. On the front, it sports a 5MP f/2.2 selfie snapper with a single LED flash.
A non-removable 3000 mAh battery fuels this device. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, Bluetooth, micro USB v2.0, etc. Sensors include accelerometer and proximity.
Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy J7 Nxt is available in Black and Gold color options. Samsung has priced it at Rs. 11,490, taking on a lot of competition from Xiaomi, Motorola, Huawei and others. The phone is available on Samsung’s online store and Amazon.in. Additionally, it will also be available for purchase at most offline retailers across the country.
At this price point, the phone faces tough competition from the likes of Redmi Note 4, Moto G5, Huawei Honor 6X, etc.
