Vivo V5 Plus Gets A Price Cut Of Rs. 3,000, Now Available For Rs. 22,990

The Vivo V5 Plus has undergone another price cut and is now available at Rs. 22,990 on Flipkart and Amazon India. Vivo has confirmed about the price cut in India, but it is not yet clear if the slashed prices are permanent or it is a limited period discount.

This is the second price cut on the device. It was earlier being sold at Rs. 25,990. The company launched the Vivo V5 Plus in India back in January and it was priced at Rs. 27,980. Vivo V5 Plus is available in Matte Black and Gold color options.

Also, Flipkart is offering Exchange offer of up to Rs. 15,600 when you buy the Vivo V5 Plus by exchanging your old smartphone. Moreover, the phone is available at zero cost EMIs starting from Rs. 1,916 per month and other EMIs from Rs. 1,115 per month.

Vivo V5 Plus Specifications

The Vivo V5 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) in-cell IPS LCD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The dual SIM phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top.

The V5 Plus is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory on board.

Coming to the Vivo V5 Plus camera, which is the major highlight of the phone, the device comes with a 16MP rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture and a LED flash. The rear camera also comes with Phase Detection Autofocus.

On the front, there is a dual camera setup. The primary 20MP sensor comes with a f/2.0 aperture and a 5P Largan lens. It is assisted by a secondary 8MP camera next to it, which captures the depth of field details. The front cameras feature a Moonlight LED flash.

Other features of the V5 Plus include a fingerprint sensor and an AK4376 audio chip for better audio experience. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The V5 Plus houses a 3055 mAh battery with fast charging support.

According to a recent report, the Chinese smartphone maker gained the third spot in Indian smartphone market by shipping an all-time high of 3.4 million units between April and June 2017. Now, slashing down the price of its high-end phone would further provide a bulge in it sales.
