Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro With Samsung Pay Goes On Sale In India For Rs. 20,900

Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro has gone on sale in India today. The phone is priced at Rs. 20,900 on Samsung’s official online store and Rs. 22,300 on Amazon India. The phone comes in Black and Gold color options.

The company had launched the mid-range smartphone in India back in June along with Galaxy J7 Max. The Galaxy J7 Max, the slightly lower end version was made available a few days after the launch at Rs. 17,900.

Samsung had earlier launched the Galaxy J7 in Europe with 16GB storage but it did not come with Samsung Pay support. The Galaxy J7 Pro is the first Samsung mid-range phone and outside the flagship segment, featuring full support for Samsung Pay.

To recall, it comes with a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, with an always-on feature to show notifications and time. The full HD resolution with 1920 x 1080 pixels, gets a pixel density of ~401 PPI. The display is covered with a 2.5D curved glass.


Galaxy J7 Pro

The Galaxy J7 Pro runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with the latest version of TouchWiz UI on top. The phone is powered by a 3600 mAh battery.

Powering the J7 Pro is an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, with support for expansion up to 256GB using a microSD card.

In terms of camera, the J7 Pro comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and an LED flash. On the front, there is a same 13MP camera with f/1.9 aperture and an LED flash.

If we talk about other features, the full metal body phone features a fingerprint sensor. It supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and FM Radio. Moreover, as mentioned, it supports, Samsung Pay, the digital mobile payment service from the company.

The phone is currently in-stock on online Samsung Store at Rs. 20,900. There is also EMI scheme available starting from Rs. 3498.32. The phone is also available on Amazon India at Rs. 22,300 and the Amazon is also offering an exchange offer up to Rs. 5,150 on the phone.
