Moto X4 Images Leaked, Expected To Be Compatible With Project Fi

Recent images of the Motorola Moto X4 have surfaced, showing off some key features of the device. The Moto X4 has been certified by Anatel in Brazil. We can see Dual camera setup and a front-mounted Fingerprint sensor on the Moto X4.

The overall design shown in the leaked images is complemented by a curved frame with rounded edges. Also, the Moto X4 is expected to be the first non-Pixel/Nexus device to utilize Google’s Project Fi.

Motorola Moto X4 Rumoured Specifications

Well the Moto X4 is anticipated to launch in the fourth quarter of this year. We have some rumours building around the device now and with certification in Brazil, we can say some of these features are really cool.

So kicking off with the build, we can see a curved frame with well-rounded corners. The back panel is shiny and features a bumped out Dual-camera module. On the front, we see the standard Moto design with a front-mounted Fingerprint sensor.

In terms of display, we can expect a 5.2-inch Full HD panel with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. We can’t say whether this will be an IPS-LCD panel or an AMOLED display.

Coming to the camera department, we can confirm that the Moto X4 will come with a Dual camera module. However, the detailed specs are still rumoured, putting the main camera as a combo of 12MP + 8MP lenses with dual tone dual-LED flash. On the front, we may get a 16MP camera with Flash.

Hardware on the Moto X4 is expected to comprise of a Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with Adreno 508 graphics. You may get 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM on the Moto X4, along with an expansion option via microSD card.

Coming to software, we know that Moto phones run stock Android with features like Moto Gestures. The Moto X4 may run on stock Android 7.1 Nougat, with upgrading capabilities to Android O.

Connectivity is one of the more interesting parts of the Moto X4. The device is expected to be compatible with Google’s project Fi. It is expected to be a 4G VoLTE device and shows a Type-C port and a 3.5mm jack in the leaked images. The Moto X4 is expected to have a 3,000 mAh battery with Turbo Charging.
