Aircel Announces FRC 419 Plan With 168GB Data And Unlimited Calls

Aircel has introduced a new prepaid plan for North East users. The offer provides the users 168GB of 3G data and unlimited voice calls for 84 days for Rs. 419.

Under the name FRC 419, the plan will allow users to make unlimited Local & STD calls and consume 168 GB of 3G/2G data (2GB per day) for 84 days. As suggested by its name, the offer is valid only for the new customers who are looking to join the Aircel network.

The company had also offered another such plan but with fewer data named FRC 348 for Eastern UP users recently. Aircel unveiled a similar FRC 449 plan in Jammu & Kashmir region yesterday with same benefits.

If we compare this plan with other operators’ plans, they are mostly similar, though Aircel is offering double data than others. But, then again its plan is limited to just North East users.

Other Offers

Airtel has just announced a Rs. 399 Plan. The plan offers 84GB Data for 84 Days and unlimited calls. The most popular Reliance Jio is offering similar benefits with its Dhan Dhana Dhan plan. Jio’s Rs. 399 Plan gives 1GB data per day for 84 days along with unlimited voice and SMS.

Vodafone has come up with a similar scheme much like Aircel. It has come up with FRC 244 plan. The offer includes 70 GB 4G or 3G data along with unlimited voice calls on Vodafone network at Rs. 244. Vodafone also offers a Campus Survival Kit, with data benefits especially for college students.

Idea Cellular also offers such a plan to stay in the fight. The Rs. 396 Plan from Idea offers Unlimited calls to any network and 1 GB of 4G internet per day for as long as 84 days.

Ahead of its upcoming merger with Reliance Communications, Aircel is looking forward to countering other incumbent telecom operators with its new plans. To recall, after Reliance Jio’s entry, such offers with data benefits has become very common. All the incumbent telcos like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India, and Idea Cellular always come up with some exciting offers for users.

Nilaj Mahalanavis, Circle Operations Head, Aircel North East, said, “The new plans are a special offering of unlimited voice calls and unmatched 3G data which will empower our customers especially students and working professionals to stay connected the whole day and get an uninterrupted access to the internet with the best value for money products and enjoy the unexplored world of videos, music, movies, and entertainment.”
