Xiaomi has announced two new accessories in India, the Mi Car Charger and Mi 2-in-1 USB Cable. Both are available on Mi India online store. The Mi car charger and 2-in-1 USB Cable are priced at Rs. 999 and Rs. 399 respectively. Interestingly, the accessories are available at a discounted price of Rs. 799 and Rs. 299 respectively.
Xiaomi India confirmed about the new accessories in its tweet earlier today. The Mi Car Charger features a metal exterior and supports dual USB ports. The Mi USB cable is a 2-in-1 cable which supports Micro USB to Type C and also supports quick charging.

Mi Car Charger
The latest accessory from Xiaomi is for those who are mostly on the go and Maps and GPS navigation drain their phone’s battery. The Mi Car Charger comes with two USB ports for simultaneous charging. It automatically adjusts output power for different devices. It supports 12V and 24V power ports which are found on most of the cars.
It offers quick charging with up to 5V/3.6A output on both the USB ports with max 5V/2.4 A max for each. It is compatible with smartphones and tablets from various brands such as Mi, Apple, Samsung, and HTC etc. It can also charge a variety of digital cameras and gaming devices as well. Moreover, it can also charge the latest MacBook when paired with a USB Type C charger.
The Mi car charger features a metal finish with top quality brass. Which also helps in electric conductivity, heat dissipation and offers high thermal resistance. The metal casing is manufactured through an 18-step process which involves CNC milling, molding, polishing, plating and more. It is also protected with five different layers of circuit chip protection.
Mi 2-in-1 USB Cable
The Mi USB Cable is a 2-in-1 cable which connects Micro USB to USB Type C. So, you can charge and sync your Micro USB as well as USB Type C devices using just one cable. The type-C reversible connector allows you to connect the cable to your device in any direction.
The cable is made from an environment-friendly material, thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). The outer casing of cable is tough but it is flexible helping in absorbing the stress and thus preventing it from splitting and breakage.
