Apple’s next generation of iPhones is finally here, and the Cupertino giant is wasting no time in bringing them to India. In addition to the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, Apple also launched a special edition iPhone X, featuring a radical redesign and an edge-to-edge display. Apple also revealed the pricing and availability details of the new iPhones and the new Apple Watch Series 3.
While the iPhone X is the tenth-anniversary iPhone with a total design and specification overhaul, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are more subtle additions to the Apple iPhone family. So here are the pricing and availability details of all the iPhone models.
Apple iPhone X Pricing and Availability
The tenth-anniversary iPhone X is coming to India in Silver and Space Grey color options. The Apple iPhone X will be available in 64GB and 256GB memory variants, with the base model priced at Rs. 89,000. You can buy the Apple iPhone X in India from November 3 this year.
Apple iPhone 8 and 8 Plus Pricing and Availability
The iPhone 8 will also be available in 64GB and 256GB storage variants, with a starting price of Rs. 64,000. The iPhone 8 Plus is pegged at Rs. 73,000 for the 64GB model and Rs. 86,000 for the 256GB variant.
Apple iPhone X Specifications
The iPhone X features a 5.8-inch Super Retina display, which is an OLED panel. The display stretches edge-to-edge on top and bottom. The phone has a glass back with stainless steel frame.
The optics on the iPhone X are handled by a dual camera setup at the back with 2 sensors of 12MP each. This setup has a wide angle lens (f/1.8) and a telephoto lens (f/2.4 aperture). The true-depth front camera features FaceID for facial recognition to unlock the deivce.
Powered by the new Apple A11 Bionic processor at its heart, the Apple iPhone X will come in 64GB and 256GB storage variants. Shipping with iOS 11 on board, the iPhone X will be coming in Silver and Space Grey color options.
Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus Specifications
The Apple iPhone 8 packs a 4.7 inch display while the iPhone 8 Plus offers a 5.5 inch display. Both phones come with a retina display with True-Tone display for a crisp viewing experience. While the iPhone 8 packs a single 12MP camera with f/1.8 aperture, the iPhone 8 Plus comes with a Dual 12MP camera setup with a wide angle and a telephoto lens.
With the Apple A11 Bionic chip backing it, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available with 64GB and 256GB onboard storage. Both the phones will run on the latest iOS 11 and come in Space Grey, Silver, and Gold color options.
