Micromax India has added three new devices to its Bharat smartphone series in India, the Bharat 4, Bharat 3, and Bharat 2 Plus. The three smartphones were spotted on the company’s official website, also revealing some of their key specifications.
To recall, Micromax had launched its Bharat series last year with affordable Bharat 1 and Bharat 2 smartphones. Now, according to its official website, the Bharat 4, Bharat 3, and Bharat 2 Plus devices with Android 7.0 Nougat OS, support for 4G VoLTE and 22 regional languages may launch soon.
Micromax Bharat 4 Specifications
The Bharat 4 device comes with a 5 inch HD display with 720 x 1280 screen resolution and a 2.5D curved glass on top. The phone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT 6737 processor. Further, the Bharat 4 is packed with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Coming to the camera, the Bharat 4 features 5MP front and rear cameras with a LED flash on the back. It will feature a 2,500mAh battery. Connectivity options will include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, BT, USB 2.0. It also features 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.
Micromax Bharat 3 Specifications
Coming to the Bharat 3, it is slightly smaller phone featuring a 4.5 inch TFT display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It is also powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT 6737 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32 GB. It will also run on Android 7.0 Nougat.
In the camera department, the handset has the same 5MP front camera with rear flash like the Bharat 4. However, it sports a 2MP front camera. The phone packs a 2,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0.
Micromax Bharat 2+ Specifications
The Bharat 2 Plus smartphone is an upgrade to the Bharat 2 which was released a few months ago. The device sports a 4 inch WVGA display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It is also powered by a quad-core MT 6737 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The handset comes with a 5MP rear camera along with a 2MP front camera. The Bharat 2 Plus will pack a 1,600mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
The company claims that Bharat smartphones are the only Google-certified devices that fall under budget category in India. Micromax is yet to officially launch the devices, hence there is no information on pricing for these smartphones.
