Chinese smartphone maker Comio has added another budget smartphone, the Comio C2 to their Indian portfolio. As a brand from Chinese company Topwise, Comio made debut in India in August with three budget smartphones.
The entry-level Comio C2 has its USP in the battery as it packs a 4,000 mAh battery with an affordable price tag of Rs. 7,199. The smartphone comes with a 5.2 inch display, quad-core MediaTek processor, 8MP front and rear cameras and 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM. The Comio C2 also packs some good anti-theft options.
Comio C2 Specifications
The Comio C2 comes as an entry-level smartphone with some good anti-theft features on board. The device comes with a 5.2 inch IPS LCD display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. In the optics department, you get an 8MP rear camera with flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.
In terms of hardware, the Comio C2 packs a quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz. The processor is accompanied by 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with the anti-theft features integrated into the software. Powered by a big 4,000 mAh battery, you can easily expect a full day of battery life from the Comio C2. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm earphone jack, Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G, and Micro USB port.
“In case of any suspicious activity, SIM-based alerts are shared with the registered alternate mobile number. One of the interesting features of Anti-theft is the image click seek, wherein when someone tries to unlock the device by trying to break the pattern or PIN, the device will automatically take the image of the unauthorised person. This Intruder Selfie allows you to easily see who has tried to unlock your device without your authorization,”, said Comio during the launch.
Pricing and Availability
Like we said earlier, the Comio C2 is an entry-level smartphone priced at Rs. 7,199. It will come in Royal Black and Royal Blue colours and will be available in North and West India via offline retailers. You can also buy the Comio C2 from all major online portals including Amazon, Flipkart, and Paytm.
