Huawei owned Honor today announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the Honor 7X at an event in China. It succeeds the Honor 6X and comes with a 5.93 inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and minimal bezels.
Another highlight of the device is its dual camera setup at the back. The Honor 7X features a 16MP + 2MP camera setup at the back. It is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat and comes with 4GB RAM.
Honor 7X Specifications
The Honor 7X runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 skinned on top. The device features a 5.93 inch LTPS IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. As the leaks indicated, the Honor 7X comes with minimal bezels.
The Honor 7X is powered by an Octa core Kirin 659 processor clubbed with MaliT830-MP2 GPU, 4GB RAM and will come with 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the Honor 7X comes with a dual camera setup at the back. It comes with a 16MP primary camera along with a 2MP secondary camera. The camera also comes with Phase detection autofocus and an LED flash. On the front, the device sports an 8MP secondary camera.
The Honor 7X is powered by a 3,340mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0, GPS and FM Radio.
Pricing and Availability
The Honor 7X has been priced at 1,299 CNY for the 32GB storage variant, 1,699 CNY for the 64GB storage variant and 1,999 CNY for the 128GB storage variant. The device is up for bookings from today and will go on sale in China in Gold, Aurora Blue and Black color options.
