Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is planning to launch a new smartphone on December 5. The company has started sending press invites for the launch event which will be held in London. The press invite poster comes with a tagline “Max Your View”, which hints that the phone will be bezel-less.
Honor has not given any other information about the device yet. So, it is hard to predict the other specifications of the device. However, the teaser image has an image of the phone with a nearly bezel-less design and 18:9 aspect ratio. Also, the image hints at a dual-camera setup and possible AI integration. The AI integration is tipped by the droid which is placed at the bottom of the teaser image in the dual camera.
Recently, Honor and Huawei have been launching a host of new devices. Honor had recently launched its Honor 9i in India earlier this month. The phone comes with minimum bezels and 18:9 aspect ratio display. Moreover, the phone has four cameras, dual setup at the rear and front both. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 17,999 and it is available for sale on Flipkart.
Meanwhile, in China, the company recently launched the Honor 7x. This is an affordable smartphone which also features an 18:9 aspect ratio display and a dual-camera setup on the back. Honor has priced the 7x at 1299 Yuan (Rs. 12,800 approx.). Other specifications are similar to Honor 9i as it also packs an Octa-core Kirin 659 processor clubbed with 4GB RAM.
For the new launch event, it is too early to predict the name and details of the phone. It might be the Honor Note 9, a successor to the Honor Note 8 that was launched back in September last year. Apart from that, it could be a new Honor 10 flagship. We could also see both phones as there are two phones in the teaser image.
