Moto X4 to launch in India on November 13: Specs, features and more

After launching it at the IFA 2017, Motorola is finally bringing the mid-range Moto X4 to the Indian market. Motorola has sent out press invites for the launch which is scheduled for November 13. With the tag #ExperiencePerfection, Motorola describes the phone as extraordinary, exceptional, excellent and exquisite.

Offering a 5.2-inch display, the Moto X4 from the Lenovo-owned Motorola is packing a dual camera setup at the back. It is driven by a Snapdragon 630, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. An Android One version of the device was also launched in the US recently.

Since the Motorola Moto X4 is already globally available, the specifications are also disclosed. Starting with the build, the Moto X4 features a sturdy Anodized aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass protection on both sides. The phone comes with a 5.2-inch full HD IPS LCD display.

In terms of optics, the Moto X4 gets a dual camera setup of 12MP + 8MP ultra wide angle lens at the back. A 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash is there for selfies and video calling.

Coming to hardware, the Motorola Moto X4 is packing a Snapdragon 630 Octa-core processor which is a powerful mid-range chipset. This processor is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. You also get expansion options up to 2TB using a microSD card.

Running Android 7.1.1 out-of-the-box, the Moto X4 will be a stock Android smartphone with some added features. Moto phones usually come with Moto Gestures that allow easy accessibility to the phone.

Backed by a 3,000mAh battery with Turbo-Charging, the device comes with IP68 water resistance. It is a dual SIM 4G VoLTE smartphone with Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, 3.5mm jack, and USB Type-C port as the standard connectivity options.

Pricing and Availability

The Moto X4 is a mid-range smartphone and is currently being sold at 399 Euros (roughly Rs. 30,000). We cannot say anything about the exact Indian pricing and availability, but we will update you when information comes in.
