Coolpad Cool Play 6 Sheen Black color edition launched at Rs. 14,999

Chine-based smartphone maker Coolpad has announced a new Sheen Black edition of the Cool Play 6. The phone was launched back in August, offering a decent set of specifications and a dual camera setup in the budget smartphone segment.

The Coolpad Cool Play 6 comes with a 5.5-inch display, dual cameras, 6GB RAM and a Snapdragon 653 processor. At this price, the Cool Play 6 is the only phone offering 6GB RAM.

Coolpad Cool Play 6 Specifications

Coolpad Cool Play 6 Sheen Black

The Coolpad Cool Play 6 Sheen Black colour is just a color – the specifications remain the same as the regular Cool Play 6. The new colour adds to the overall look of the phone. The capacitive navigation keys also complement the phone’s looks.

Featuring metallic build, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS-LCD display with full HD (1920 x 1080p) resolution. In terms of optics, you get a 13MP + 13MP dual camera setup at the back, with an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

Talking about hardware, the Cool Play 6 is powered by a Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor, coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. This combination is backed by 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The only compromise here is that you don’t get a microSD card option.

In terms of software, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with an optimized Journey UI.

Powered by a huge 4,000 mAh battery, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 is a Dual SIM 4G VoLTE smartphone. Other connectivity options on the phone include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm jack, and a USB Type-C port.
