Transsion Holdings sub-brand Infinix is going to launch a new flagship smartphone dubbed as Infinix Zero 5 on November 14. The smartphone will be unveiled at an event in Dubai but will be available India soon after.

To recall, Infinix made its entry in the India back in August this year with the launch of its entry level Note 4 and Hot 4 Pro handsets. The Hong-Kong based smartphone manufacturer is now introducing yet another smartphone in the growing Indian smartphone market and this time it could be a mid-range device.

Infinix Zero 5 Specifications

There is not much information is available about the Infinix Zero 5 as of now. However, some reports claim that the Infinix Zero 5 will feature the trending ‘edge-to-edge’ display, a dual rear camera setup, and could be priced around Rs. 20,000 when it becomes available in the markets before the end of November. Reports also suggest that the Zero 5 will pack 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.

As mentioned above, Infinix has only launched two smartphones in India so far. The Infinix Note 4 and the Infinix Hot 4 Pro are both entry-level smartphones with starting price of Rs. 7,499. The Hot 4 Pro features a 5.5-inch display, 13MP and 5MP cameras, Quad-Core processor, 3GB RAM and 16GB storage with 128GB expandable memory. While the slightly expensive Infinix Note 4 comes with a bigger 5.7-inch display, 13MP/8MP cameras, Octa-core processor, 3GB/32GB storage with 128GB expandable memory option.

The company has not yet launched any device under the Zero brand in India. In other countries, the company has already been selling the Zero 4 and Zero 4 Plus smartphones, with camera and fast charging as their USPs. So, the launch of the Infinix Zero 5 in India will be the series debut for the company in India.

The launch event will be held on November 14 at 6pm local Dubai time which means 7:30pm here in India.
