LG V30 with dual camera setup to launch in India in December

Korean tech giant LG is tipped to launch its latest flagship device, the LG V30 here in India in December. The LG V30 was unveiled at the IFA 2017. The device comes with military grade durability.

PhoneRadar has reported that the smartphone will come to India next month. The LG V30 is the latest flagship in the V series. It comes with a bezel-less design and a dual camera setup. The phone also enjoys exclusive language and command support from Google Assistant.

The latest flagship from LG, the LG V30 was unveiled at the IFA earlier this year. Since then, the phone is getting made available globally in a phased manner. To recall, the phone comes with a 6-inch FullVision P-OLED display with Quad HD+ resolution.

For a strong structure, the LG V30 banks on an H-Beam structure for minimal flex and maximum strength. In terms of optics, the V30 is equipped with 16MP + 13MP dual cameras with glass lenses at the back. A front-facing 5MP camera is also given for selfies and video calling.


Coming to hardware, the device is backed by a Snapdragon 835 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. There is also a 128GB storage variant called the V30+, however, its arrival is still unknown here. The LG V30 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with LG UX 6.0+. The secondary display from the V series is now replaced by a floating action bar.

The phone features a 3,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging capabilities. The Always-On display on the V30 is also highly customizable. It is a dual SIM smartphone and the connectivity options include a fingerprint sensor on the back, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, NFC, and WiFi.

Pricing and availability

While the exact date is unknown, it is tipped that LG will make the LG V30 available in India by next month. The phone is expected to be priced around Rs. 45,000
