Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro with 18:9 display launched: Price, features and more

Micromax has launched a new smartphone in its Canvas series, dubbed as the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro It comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio display and minimal bezels. The Canvas Infinity Pro is priced at Rs. 13,999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart.

To recall, Micromax had earlier launched its first 18:9 display device, the Canvas Infinity back in August. Now, the Canvas Infinity Pro is the successor to that. The phone has some similar specs to the Canvas Infinity, however, it is powered by Snapdragon 430 processor, instead of Snapdragon 425 and also comes with a dual front camera.

Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro specifications

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro has display as its highlight feature. It sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The dual-SIM phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat.

Powering the phone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU. It is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB with microSD.

Coming to the camera, the phone has a 16MP rear camera with an LED flash and 1080p video recording support. The device has a 20MP front-facing camera along with a secondary 8MP camera offering Portrait Mode that blurs the background in selfies. It also has features like Face Beauty mode, Auto scene detection and Face Gallery. It uses facial recognition technologies to search for photos in the gallery by recognizing a face.

Other features of the phone include a Fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB OTG. The Canvas Infinity Pro packs a 3000mAh battery.

Price and Availability

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is priced at Rs. 13,999. The phone comes in Black color only and it will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting from December 6, 2017.
