OnePlus 4th anniversary celebrations – Up to Rs. 1500 discounts, 1TB free data and more

Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus has turned 4 years old and is offering festive discounts on devices as well as accessories. The company unveiled the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition smartphone yesterday.

With OnePlus turning 4, the company is selling the devices with Rs. 1,500 Instant discount on purchases made with Axis Bank debit and credit cards. Also, the brand has introduced No Cost EMI from Bajaj Finserv.in. The No Cost EMI is exclusive to the OnePlus online store. If you’re an Idea Cellular customer, you are also eligible for up to 1TB data. There are also offers for Zomato (Gold membership) Servify, Amazon Prime Video and Kindle Credits.

For the uninitiated, OnePlus has introduced a Star Wars Limited Edition of the OnePlus 5T. The device comes in white and black colours. The black device comes with a red print on it with ‘Star Wars, The Last Jedi’ branded on the back.

This limited edition OnePlus 5T comes with a 6.01-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080p) optic AMOLED display. This display is a 2.5D curved glass with Gorilla Glass 5. In terms of cameras, you get the same 16MP camera, f/1.7 aperture and a second 20MP camera as the regular OnePlus 5T.


The hardware also remains the same with the Snapdragon 835 processor and Adreno 540 GPU. However, the limited edition comes only in the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and will upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo in the coming year.

You get a 3,300 mAh battery with Dash Charging that allows you to get 60% charge under 30 minutes. It is a Dual SIM 4G VoLTE smartphone with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm earphone jack as standard connectivity options.
