Nokia may soon launch the Nokia 4 and the Nokia 7 Plus

HMD Global had launched a number of Android smartphones under the Nokia brand in 2017. While there has been no official confirmation from the company about its 2018 lineup, we have been hearing about the Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 9 and the Android Oreo Go based Nokia 1 budget device. Now, the Nokia camera app has revealed two new devices – the Nokia 4 and the Nokia 7 Plus.

Recently, the first Nokia Android Go smartphone dubbed as Nokia 1 was spotted by a Russian tipster. Earlier, HMD Global‘s Nokia smartphones for 2018, the Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 9 had been reported in several rumors. Now, as reported by GizChina the default Nokia Camera app has revealed that the company is also preparing to launch the Nokia 4 and the Nokia 7 Plus alongside the Nokia 1.

As per the report, the new Nokia phones have emerged after unzipping the APK file of the Camera app. This shows the Nokia 4 and Nokia 7 Plus which had not been leaked until now. Moreover, the app’s component also points to the already rumored Nokia 9, Nokia 8 (2018), Nokia 6 (2018) and the Nokia 1.

Talking about the newly found phones, the Nokia 7 Plus might be the premium version of the last year’s Nokia 7, and it is expected to come with a Snapdragon 660 chipset. The Nokia 4, on the other hand, is likely to be a completely new phone with a fresh set of specifications.

It is not yet clear when HMD will unveil all the listed smartphone models for 2018. However, we can speculate that there are at least five new Nokia smartphones coming this year from the Finnish company.

To recall, the Nokia 1 will be the part of Google’s Android Oreo Go programme and is expected to be launched in March. The smartphone is rumored to feature an HD display, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. Also, it is expected to come with a price tag of RUB 5,990 (Rs. 6,670 approx.).

While the launch of the Nokia 1 is rumored for March, HMD has been planning the announcement of the flagship Nokia 9 at an event in China on January 19. It is expected to be unveiled alongside the Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 8 (2018).
