Airtel, itel partner to provide up to Rs. 1500 cashback on itel A40, A41

Bharti Airtel and itel have partnered to launch budget-friendly 4G smartphones in India. The partnership is under the Airtel’s “Mera pehla smartphone” initiative to bring 4G smartphones within everyone’s reach.

Customers will get a cashback of Rs 1,500 on the itel A40 and itel A41 smartphones. This will reduce the effective price of both the smartphones, and they will also come bundled with Airtel‘s Rs. 169 monthly pack with data and calling benefits.

itel A40 Specifications

itel A41

The itel A40 comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display and Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM with 8GB internal memory and support for microSD cards up to 32GB. The itel A40 comes with 4G VoLTE and ViLTE support for better video and audio calling quality.

In terms of optics, the itel A40 comes with a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front-facing camera; both cameras are assisted by an LED flash.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The full price of the smartphone is Rs. 4,599 and after a cashback of Rs. 1,500, the final price will be Rs. 3,099.

There is nothing much upgraded in the A41 from the A40 except for the color options.

The price for itel A41 is Rs. 4,699 and after the cashback, the final price will be Rs. 3,199.

Cashback eligibility

Airtel created a criterion for cashback that the consumer needs to make the full payment of the device when purchasing and the cashback of Rs. 1,500 will be given in two installments over a period of 36 months.

The first cashback installment of Rs 500 will be given after 18 months only when the customer has done recharges of worth Rs. 3000 and above (i.e., minimum Rs. 169 per month). The other cashback installment of Rs. 1000 will be provided after 18 months with the same eligibility criteria.
