Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is expected to soon unveil the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, which is set to be an affordable phablet from the company. While rumours about the device have been doing rounds for a while, more detailed specifications are out now.
A poster on Weibo has leaked this information about the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, detailing the hardware specifications of the phone. While some points are in line with previous leaks, the processor and camera specifications are different in these leaks.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 rumoured specifications
The Mi Max range has seen devices with big displays which are fit for multimedia streaming. Apart from this, the Xiaomi Mi Max lineup is currently taken by the Mi Max 2. Talking about the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, the device is expected to sport a 7-inch full HD+ resolution display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
With this display size, the device falls under the phablet category. Coming to the optics now, the device is now rumoured to be packing a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing unit for selfies and video calls. Earlier, the phone was tipped to pack dual rear cameras which could also be the case.
In terms of hardware, this is where the new leaks come into play. It is now stated that the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 chipset. This octa-core chipset is rumoured to be coupled with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
While its predecessor packed a big battery, the Mi Max 3 is expected to surpass that. The upcoming Mi Max 3 is tipped to feature a humongous 5,500 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is expected to be priced starting at Rs. 1,699 Yuan (roughly Rs. 16,842).
