Exclusive: iPhone X screen freeze and ‘cross’ on battery, new iOS bugs

With FaceID succumbing to hacks, iPhones being throttled, and now two strange issues about the UI and battery, the iOS 11 on iPhone X is becoming controversial. As Apple claimed to have made the experience more fluid, there seem to be a lot of bugs in here.

Talking about a much recent discovery, our Editor-in-chief, Mr Abhishek Bhatnagar has encountered two strange issues with his iPhone X. Firstly, the display keeps going back to the search screen, not stopping anywhere else. The second issue is something other people have witnessed too, a black cross (x) on the battery.

After a bunch of bug fix updates, we thought that the iPhone X was finally flawless now, but new bugs have recently surfaced. Starting with the first bug, the display on the iPhone X keeps freezing at the search screen. Our editor-in-chief has also experienced the bug in his phone. So far, there is no word about the same bug being faced by other users.

Coming to the second error we’ve spotted, this is something other Apple users have also complained about on the Apple community. This issue is with the battery icon, and possibly the battery too on the Apple iPhone X. A black coloured cross is appearing on the battery icon of the device.

When another user complained about the same issue in the community, there were responses that indicate battery error in cold temperatures. The user posted that after a walk in -2 degrees temperature, the iPhone X showed a cross over the battery, and recovered after 30 minutes. Other people have responded saying that the battery ran too cold and then recovered.

This scene happening at a severe temperature drop is still acceptable, but the same happened to our iPhone X here in Delhi. We still wait for Apple to respond to the issues put by users in the community and fix this.
