To recall, the Xiaomi Mi 7 is the upcoming flagship device from the Chinese company. While the phone was tipped to launch at MWC 2018, it is now reported to be launching at a later date. India Today has reported through a source close to the company that informed about the development.

With the Xiaomi Mi 7 launch being suspended for now, we anticipate the company will launch the rumoured Mi Mix 2S and the Surge S2 chipset at the MWC. If the reports are to be believed, then the company is not going to make any big announcements through the platform.

In terms of optics, the device is rumoured to be equipped with a 20MP + 12MP dual rear camera setup with AI capabilities.

Coming to hardware, a Snapdragon 845 seems to be the suitable processor for the phone. There are also speculations that there will be two RAM variant i.e. 6GB and 8GB along with up to 128GB internal storage. If the Xiaomi Mi 7 is not unveiled at the MWC, the company is left with only the Surge S2 chipset which is almost sure to be launched there.
