Japanese smartphone maker Sony has launched its latest smartphone, dubbed as the Xperia L2 in India. The new mid-range smartphone from Sony is the successor of the Xperia L that was launched way back in 2013. The Xperia L2 is available in India from today via offline retail stores
Sony has priced the phone at Rs. 19,990 in India. To recall, the phone was unveiled last month at CES 2018 event in Las Vegas and at that time the company did not reveal anything about its pricing. The device comes with a 5.5inch HD display, 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and a 3,300mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging etc.
Sony Xperia L2 Specifications
The Sony Xperia L2 sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280 x 720 Pixels) display with Image Enhance Technology and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Powering the phone is a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor with Mali-T720 GPU. Memory wise, it comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
In the camera department, the phone features a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, 1/3.06″ sensor, and f/2.0 aperture. There is an 8MP front-facing camera with a 120° wide-angle lens and f/2.4 aperture.
The dual SIM phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Dimension wise it measures 150 x 78 x 9.8mm and weighs 178 grams. The device comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. It also sports a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio as well. The phone is powered by a 3,300mAh battery and comes with Qnovo Adaptive Charging support.

The Sony Xperia L2 is priced at Rs. 19,990 in India. The phone comes in Black and Gold color options and is already available from retail stores across India.
