Airtel now offers unlimited calling, 1GB data for 28 days at Rs. 93

Following the footsteps of Reliance Jio, Airtel now revised its Rs. 93 plan to offer more benefits. Airtel has updated its Rs. 93 pack to provide customers with 28 days validity over the 10-day validity that it came with earlier, along with similar voice and data benefits as before.

The latest plan by Airtel is aimed at customers who require more validity. Earlier last month, Reliance Jio started offering 28-day validity with its Rs. 98 plan for its customers as part of its Republic Day 2018 offer. Now, Airtel has come with the cheapest recharge with month-long validity.

Airtel’s Rs. 93 Plan

The Airtel Rs. 93 recharge offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls and 100 SMS per day. Data benefits it offers are 1GB of 4G/3G data for the entire 28-day validity period. The 28-day validity has been increased from the 10 days validity that the Airtel pack came with until now.

The ‘unlimited’ calls are limited to 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week. Once the daily or weekly limit is exhausted, customers will be charged at 10 paise per minute. Also, buyers can call 100 unique numbers in a 7-day period, and if this number exceeds, again 10 paise per minute for the remaining validity period is charged.

Airtel is offering similar calling benefits as Jio with its Rs. 93 pack. However, it falls short when it comes to data. With the Republic Day 2018 Offer, Reliance Jio is offering 2GB of 4G data up from 1GB with its Rs. 98 plan which is twice the Airtel is offering with its Rs. 93 pack.

However, the bundled SMS messages with the Jio recharge are capped at 300, while Airtel offers 100 SMS messages per day for the entire 28 days. Airtel has also started offering 1GB data per day for 28 days with its Rs. 149 plan to take on Jio’s similar plan.
