HMD Global launches Nokia 6 (2018) with Zeiss Optics at #MWC2018

#GTUMWC2018: HMD Global today announced the Nokia 6 (2018) with ZEISS optics, Nokia Bothie support, and Face Unlock. HMD Global released the Nokia 6 previously in China with pretty decent specifications. The smartphone comes with a better hardware and it will be available from April 2018 for 279 Euros.

Nokia 6 (2018) Design

Nokia 6 (2018) comes with the traditional design as all Nokia smartphones with thick bezels on the front side around the display. This time Nokia has moved the fingerprint sensor on the back of the smartphone, the bezels are a bit smaller this time because of this. The form factor is similar to the Nokia 6 2017 but the fingerprint sensor is moved to back and there are no physical navigation buttons.

Nokia 6 (2018) Specifications

Nokia 6 (2018) comes with a 5.5 inches IPS LCD display with 16:9 aspect ratio and Full HD resolution. The smartphone runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo update with Android One branding which means there won’t be any bloatware in the OS and it will provide users a vanilla Android experience. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor paired with 3GB/4GB RAM.

The camera at the back of the Nokia 6 (2018) is a 16MP sensor with ZEISS optics, PDAF, f/2.0 and dual tone LED flash. The selfie camera is an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture size. The smartphone comes with Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type C port and NFC as connectivity options. A 3000mAh battery powers this phone.


Nokia 6 (2018) Pricing and Availability

Nokia 6 (2018) will be available for 279 Euros which is approximately Rs 22,196 and it will be available in three colors from April.
