Huawei MediaPad M5 and M5 Pro Full Specs, Features, Expected Price and FAQ

Huawei started the Mobile World Congress 2018 by releasing two new tablets dubbed as the Huawei MediaPad M5 and M5 Pro. Both these tablets come with high-end specifications and big display. The tablets come in two variants according to the screen size, and the MediaPad M5 Pro comes with a stylus.

The MediaPad M5 and MediaPad M5 Pro come with a price tag of 499 Euros (Rs. 40,000 approx) and 549 Euros (Rs. 43,000 approx) respectively.

Huawei MediaPad M5 and M5 Pro come with a metal unibody design with a camera bump at the back of the tablet. The Mediapad M5 Pro comes with a 2.5D curved cover glass for better viewing and experience. The MediaPad M5 Pro comes with a desktop UI which brings more features on the OS.

Huawei has used an IPS LCD panel on these tablets which comes with 2K resolution and high pixel density. As Huawei made these tablets for media lovers, the tablet comes with a bright display and better resolution. The screen on MediaPad M5 Pro is 10.8 inches, and it has great color contrast, and the viewing angles are also great.

Mate Pen

Huawei has released a digital stylus for the MediaPad M5 Pro which can be used to scribble on the tablet. The “Mate Pen” is pressure sensitive, and it comes with 4096 level of pressure sensors for better writing experience and productivity. The Mate Pen is sold separately, and it can be charged via a USB Type C cable.

The Mate Pen is sold separately by Huawei, and it comes with rechargeable battery. The Pen can be used on all the MediaPad variants including the MediaPad M5 and M5 Pro.
