#GTUMWC2018: Alcatel has announced three new smartphones at the MWC 2018 which includes the Alcatel 1X, an Android Go smartphone. The three smartphones come with mid-range specifications. The Alcatel 3 comes in three variants – Alcatel 3, Alcatel 3X and Alcatel 3V.

Alcatel 1X Specifications
Alcatel 1X comes with a 5.3 inch full view display with 480 X 960 resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone runs on a quad-core MediaTek SoC which is paired with 1GB / 2GB RAM. The Alcatel 1X comes with a 13MP and 8MP rear dual camera setup. For selfies, it features a 5MP front-facing camera.
The Alcatel 1X comes with 16GB internal storage, which is expandable via a microSD card. The smartphone comes with facial recognition feature to unlock the smartphone using the face. There is a fingerprint sensor placed at the rear end. The smartphone comes with a price tag of EUR 100 and EUR 110.
Alcatel 3, 3V and 3X specifications
The Alcatel 3 series smartphones include three smartphones – Alcatel 3, Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 3X.
Alcatel 3
The Alcatel 3 comes with a 5.5 inches HD+ IPS LCD display, it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor and PowerVR GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.
The Alcatel 3 comes with a 13MP sensor at the rear and a 5MP sensor with LED flash for selfies. The smartphone comes with all the connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. The smartphone comes with a 3,000mAh battery.
Alcatel 3v
The Alcatel 3v comes with a 6 inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and sports a quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with Mali T720MP2 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage.
The Alcatel 3V comes with a dual camera setup at the back which includes a 12MP sensor and one 2MP sensor with LED flash. A 5MP sensor with LED flash is there for selfies. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3,000mAh battery for long use.
Alcatel 3x
The Alcatel 3x comes with a 5.7 inches display with HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor with PowerVR GE8100 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
The Alcatel 3x comes with a 13MP + 5MP dual camera setup at the rear and 5MP sensor for selfies with LED flash. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor and compass sensor. It is powered by a massive 3,000mAh battery.
Alcatel 5 Specifications
The Alcatel 5 is a flagship smartphone and comes with a 5.7 inch IPS HD+ panel with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 CPU and PowerVR GPU. It comes with 2GB / 3GB RAM options with 16GB / 32GB internal storage.
The smartphone comes with a 12MP primary camera with dual LED flash and at the front, there is a dual camera setup which includes 13MP and 5MP sensors for selfies. The smartphone comes with all the connectivity options including NFC. The Alcatel 5 comes with a 3,000mAh battery and is priced at EUR 230 which is approximately Rs. 18,298.
